Great Thai food in Voorhees

I've been meaning to post about this place for a few months, and I'm finally getting to it.

Mark (Markarotti) on this Board gave us several suggestions for Asian food in the Cherry Hill/Voorhees area. His suggestions are great!

Som Sak is a casual BYOB in Voorhees on White Horse Road, not far from the Ritz Movie Theater.
We shared the assorted appetizers, which were delicious.

A special was the seafood hot pot, highly recommended by the couple in line ahead of us. (We didn't have reservations, so we had a short wait.) My husband kept oohing and aahing over the large, fresh pieces of seafood and the wonderful flavor.

I loved the duck, which comes in several variations. It was crispy on the outside, still moist and flavorful on the inside.

Of course, we had to have the coconut ice cream for dessert; great!

The couple in line ahead of us ended up seated next to us. Their suggestions were all excellent, and after some conversation (how did you find this place?) it turned out that they are friends of Mark.
The Chowhound world is amazing.

This is one more place we would never would have found without the Board!
