Had dinner the other night here, located at
135 Atlantic Ave in Brooklyn. I am usually
disappointed by Spanish restaurants, but not
here. We had the terrific appetizers, garlic
shrimp and stuffed squid. The seafood entrees
were terrific as well - monkfish, pork in a paprika
sauce and shrimp soup.
Had I realized how good their cooking was I'd
have tried the Paella. I only passed on it
because it is usually a letdown.
The sangria was very good as well, although a
There is a bar area that had filled up by the time
we left, and they had a good selection of tapas.
Reminded me very much of a trip to Spain.
You also get live music, although the actual
flamenco does not begin until 11:00.
Only negative - service was perfunctory.
