Great service at Mina's

millerd | Feb 17, 2004 08:04 PM

I made my first trip to Mina tonight. Given all that has been said here before I was expecting terrific food, and was prepared for problematic service.

I was wrong on one count.

The service was great. The food came quickly, and nothing was missed. All the appetizers came together, and all the entrees, including bread and rice came together next. Our waiter (an older, balding man) was very friendly and attentive. He really seemed sincerely concerned that everything was good, and that there were no problems.

Maybe we got lucky, or maybe things are improving.

I was not disappointed in the food. Well the samosa wasn't great. But the chicken korma was possibly the best Indian dish I've ever had, the chana masala was terrific, and everything else was very good to great.

I look forward to going again.
