Great fairly priced Italian - Di Pilla's in Rosemead

Di Pilla's Italian Restaurant

I'm surprised no one has ever mentioned this restaurant. I told my coworker about this restaurant and he was like "sorry but I'm not going to try Italian food in Rosemead." I didn't realize there was this stigma for eating in Rosemead...

Anyhow, I think they are a great deal and serve pretty authentic Italian food and a great setting (dark, candles, romantic). So I went to Gale's on Saturday and it was decent food, but I thought it was overpriced. Seems like people go there just to drink the wine. I like Di Pilla's much more and you get free garlic bread!

I recommend, lobster ravioli (no more than $14 and the pink sauce it comes with makes a great bread dipping!), tortellini di pilla, and lasagna. All entrees come with generous portions of soup or salad.
