A great Pasadena chow

There is a little place called Gerlach's Grill in Pasadena. It's on Fair Oaks at Glenarm, and it's tacked on to the side of a liquor store. Everything is grilled and delicious! For lunch the other day I had the swordfish lunch. It came with a huge piece of grilled swordfish, rice, salad and salsa and cost $6.95. It's mediterranean mostly, so practically everything is grilled and served in various grilled chicken sandwich, grilled chicken taco, grilled chicken salad, grilled chicken plate...all the same chicken.

Everything is so good...large portions and cheap. It's best to call ahead and pick it up, so you don't have to wait as long. And you can always pick up your drinks next door. It took me a long time to try it, because it really looks like an afterthought to the liquor store, but it is really a find.
