Monsoon on Route 73 in Mount Laurel has an incredibly inexpensive and tasty lunch menu. a colleague and i sampled it yesterday. its in the vicinity of the cracker barrel, in a strip mall next to a west marine. started with shrimp satay with a delightfully sweet/hot sauce with marinated pineapple and cucumber on the side. had a curried chicken dish as the main, came with a deep fried wanton, a bowl of sweet/hot soup and four pieces of california roll. total was less than $10. the place does a boffo lunch biz between noon and 1:30. not sure what the dinner crowd is like. place is pleasantly decorated, track lighting, set of clocks against the back wall (one with kuala lampur time), decent looking sushi bar.
small and family owned. worth the trip from phila. go out 38 and then hang a right. its on the left hand side.
