Before I get cut off for the fourth time, let me say that Schwabl's Restaurant in West Seneca has THE BEST BEEF ON WECK IN THE ENTIRE WORLD. hand cut, no reservations, no take outs, in business since 1847. Take I-90 to 400, then 16, get off at Center and Union Streets in the heart of W. Seneca. My family's been going there for 60 years.
I'm going to be brief, because I keep getting cut off, try CYBELE's on elmwood and allen for small, exotic soups and sandwiches, very cheap and sort of trendy-boho, but so small it won't matter.
Try Creekside in Williamsville, the Left Bank at Richmond Street and ? (look it up in dir.assistance) and Billy Ogden's at William and Ogden Strreets; Lily Langtry's on Transit Road in East Amherst, Bullfeathers on Elmwood Ave. , Gabriel's Gate on Allen Stsreet, great atmosphere and food is great.
