We are having company over after visiting our local pumpkin farm and doing the whole hayride, pick your own pumpkin thing. I want to make some great soup to serve with some warm homemade bread and a salad. My husband has nixed my fall standards: beef and barley, lentil, french onion, black bean and chili. I was leaning towards trying the pumpkin lasagna someone posted about earlier but I keep leaning towards soup. Does anyone have any tried and true favorites that would work for cold fall day??
PS: I did a search for "soup" and "fall soups" but didn't come up with anything. If there has been a recent thread on fall soups could you post the link?? thanks!
