Great exhibit at the Southern Food & Beverage Museum

The exhibit consists of photographs from the people who created a book called the Photography of Modernist Cuisine.

Not that the SoFab museum isn't worth $10 anyway, ($5 for the Elders) , and the pleasure of grabbing lunch at Purloo and just seeing the old Brunning's bar and bar back.

You will have never seen food photos like these and some of them fall into food porn and others straight out of a lab. Actually, all of the photos are produced in photo lab and many consist of over 200 individual photos superimposed.

I haven't see this exhibit but I have gone through the book they put out. It is an amazing coffee table book, about the size of a small coffee table, and at over $180, the cost of a small coffee table.

After you see the exhibit cross the street to the library and take the book to a table. You can spend an hour just looking at food photos.

The exhibit starts Saturday the 12th through March.
