Great delivery experiences in San Francisco

This is mostly a post of gratitude for several places that have either kept up or pivoted to home delivery during this period.

First: Hing Lung roast meats on Stockton St, offering delivery on the major platforms as Go Duck Yourself. Crispy pork belly, chasiu, and roast duck.

Next: Mensho ramen on Geary. Their mazesoba held up alright in delivery -- the noodles are thick enough that even after absorbing most of the sauce they were still chewy. But the real treat was a separate order of 2 lbs of their chashu, which is now sliced and in the freezer alongside the last pieces of Hing Lung's pork belly.

Up next: fish. I've ordered a range of seafood from Water2Table and Four Star Seafood, including sashimi/sushi-grade tuna and salmon. Wide selection, easy ordering, and affordable delivery.

I'm mostly ordering components rather than ready-to-eat meals. But two great meals were:

Burmese Kitchen on Geary: most of their menu should hold up well for delivery. The shrimp with sour leaf was a familiar treat. And the balangchaung (condiment of dried shrimp, chilies, etc.) will be great later in the week with poached eggs on rice.

Beijing Restaurant on Alemany: very happy that the hand-pulled belt noodles were packed separately from the saucy braised meat and held up even the next day as leftovers.
