First, I'd just like to express my thanks to Chowhound. Without doubt the best website about food and drink I've every come across. Now my question. My girl friend and I are going to be in San Francisco in mid June. We're looking for great Chinese food. We live in Albuquerque, Mexico, a vast waste land of very mediocre Chinese food. I'm originally from New York City and my girl friend from Philadelphia, so we both appreciate good Chinese food. I found one place that sounds very interesting: Great Eastern (649 Jackson St.) My girl friend and I both love seafood. This restaurant is described as having the greatest variety of seafood (geoduck, frogs, abalone, etc.). Has anybody eaten here?? If so, can you let me know what you think of it. I'd also be happy to know about any other restaurants that feature seafood or truly authentic Chinese food. (Please no sweet and sour pork or moo goo gai pan restaurants!) Thanks

Peter B
