Today I finally tried the Nook burger replete with gruyere and wine braised onions, a little sprinkle of baby arugula on a grilled roll (the kind usually used for steak sandwiches). It was perfectly done (requested medium--came nicely pink)--great quality meat (Sterling Silver according to the menu). The fries, contrary to a previous post, are perfect and very crispy now. One of the owners (nice young bald guy who holds down the bar at lunch) told me they recently switched to using new potatoes, cause russets they had been using were inconsistent. Had a nice little side salad (extra), which came with a very good vinaigrette. Tried their iced tea--jasmine/blackberry (I think) combo--really lovely. This place just does a lot of things right. Can't wait to go back for dinner!
