great brunch at Saddle Peak Lodge

It's a bit on the pricey side, but totally perfect for a special occasion brunch. The service was outstanding and everything tasted great.

I had their eggs benedict, which was served on a croissant instead of english muffin, with their great Nueske bacon instead of ham. Also included in the benedict is spinich and a perfect hollendase sauce. Hubby had Souffle pancakes with warm blackberry compote & creme fraiche. Interesting extremely light texture. Other friend had Buffalo burger with Gruyere cheese & house made potato chips which he enjoyed. We added some fresh baked muffins that we perfect, good coffee and one belini. The total bill was about $90 with the tax and tip. Like I said, pricey but really lovely. The drive there on a sunny day is gorgeous.

Highly recommend.
