I picked this up at the library and cannot put it down. Hilariously funny (and sometimes quite touching) memoir by a now 40-ish woman, her several failed love affairs and the food she cooks for or because of the men in her life.
I had not heard of this book and it did not come up on a CH search. If you have a chance, read it-- you will be so happy you did! It's quick and so much fun.
Her recipes look great, too! And even they are funny--she includes a recipe for a pasta dish that serves one (from during a time of singleness in her life) and she ends the recipe with something like this--"If you wish to double this for your boyfriend, that's your problem": In context, it's just such an unexpecteed way to end a recipe and so funny!
