great bike ride to Cohasset

Yesterday couldn't have been a better day to get on a motorcycle after 3 years. Took 3A to Cohasset to a place called Olde Salt House by the Harbor (and maybe part of a bigger more formal place called Atlantica). We waited 15 min to sit outside and all got various sandwiches w/ decent fries and cole slaw. I got the lobster roll with pretty tasty lobster but it was on another overgrilled bun. My driver got a shrimp po boy type sandwich and his friend got the fried fish ($16, $12 and $9). Pleasant service, awesome day, amazing houses, couldn't complain too much.

On the much less posh side of things, got breakfast at Dottie's in Cleary Sq., Hyde Park on Sat., an old fashioned coffee shop where the waitresses seem like they'd be really friendly but weren't. Bacon and cheese omelette was good tho with red potato home fries and the standard under toasted, over buttered wheat toast ($4.50). Ron's Ice Cream/Bowling Alley on Hyde Park Ave. has a ton of flavors and the kiddie portion of kahlua chip was huge. Tried to finally stop by Tutto Italiano on River St. but they were on vacation. Very thankful I didn't walk all the way out there but that's been on my list for a long time.
