Inspired partly by chowhound, I'm heading off to the Napa Valley this weekend for my birthday.
I've been gathering recommendations off the board for lunch and dinner, so I'm not going to ask the dreaded "where do I eat in Napa Valley" question, but I could use some suggestions for breakfast (I'm staying in Calistoga), and generally for don't-miss chowstops while tooling around the valley (bakeries, produce stands, cheese shops, non-touristy wineries, etc.).
And of course any other recommendations for "don't-miss" experiences (especially indulgent ones) are welcome!
I will, of course, report back!
