Grassfed beef taste test

geri13999 | Dec 19, 201405:33 AM     72

I purchased grassfed beef along with regular packaged beef from Target the other day to make burgers. I wanted to compare the two and see if my family would notice (hubby and 2 teenagers). First off, the smell of the GF beef made me borderline nauseous. I asked Hubby, and he said he did not notice any bad smell. I rinsed the both types of beef (I always do), formed patties and sprinkled my garlic and onion powder on it. I served the grilled burgers and NO ONE noticed the difference! I thought the GF burgers were heartier and tastier with no evidence of a bad or "different" smell like when I opened the package. FYI, the GF beef was the same price as Publix (if you live in the southeast). The regular beef cost about 2 times as much at Publix than at Target.
