Our Grand Plan (Revised!)

Suebee | Nov 11, 2003 11:20 AM

Thanks to everyone who made great suggestions and extremely helpful advice. I've modified our plan to focus more on early lunches and late dinners - we're fine with coffee and pastries for breakfasts. I've tried to modify based on your comments regarding what's closed, etc. and made some tough choices. I'd love to get any other feedback from you eternally helpful NO hounds! (and a big sorry to Yvette for addressing you as Yvonne)

Thursday (Christmas Day - mandatory hotel dining since everything else is closed):
Dinner: Made some calls - nothing is open. So the choices seem to be: Rene Bistrot/Zoe Bistrot/Besh Steakhouse - thoughts?
Breakfast: Cafe Du Monde
Lunch: Feeling's
Dinner: La Crepe Nanou
Breakfast: Croissant d'Or
Lunch: Mat & Naddie's
Dinner: Peristyle (already have 9pm reservations)
Breakfast: Petunia's
Lunch: Upperline
Dinner: Galatoire's - downstairs
Breakfast: La Spiga
Lunch: Sid-Mar's - or some other place out aways - we will be renting a car on Monday to see swamps, River Road, and just away from central NO for a day. Any ideas? Sid-Mar's sounded like an old-fashioned, locals spot by the water..
Dinner: Dick & Jenny's/Stella/K-Paul's, thoughts?
Breakfast: Old Coffee Pot
Late Lunch: Domilise's/Dooky Chase/Dunbar's

Our flight is at 4pm..
