Grand Opening of Grand Sichuan In Murray Hill Is TRUE!

This is just such BIG news for the Murray Hill area otherwise known for it's lack of anything edible, literally that I had to make a loud, messy splash. I've lived here for 12 years and have discovered only 3 restaurant worth patronizing; El Pote (Spanish), Suginoko (Japanese) and Phoenix Garden (Cantonese). Now, the reason for this elation over this Sechuan style restaurant is............the crab & pork soup dumplings. They are hands down the BEST in the city. Better than Joe's Shanghai on Pell Street in China Town! And, you must get the (crab AND pork together) soup dumplings, NOT just the pork ones which are remarkably bland. I don't know how I lived in Manhattan for 18 years and only tasted my first soup dumpling a year ago, but man, I've been robbed. And now those years are wasted. I've got some making up to do. Go. GRAND SICHUAN (not Sechuan) 227 Lexington Avenue, between 33-34 street, FREE parking after 6pm. Open 'till 11PM 7 days a week. They also have 2 other locations on 24th St. and 9th Ave and 52nd street and 9th Ave. The menue is the same at all 3 locations. Enjoy and thanks.

Best,
Lomi
