Finally trekked over to GAM since their expansion. It's cool that you can get live talapia and catfish now. Having had fresh fish in Boston's and DC's Chinatowns I realize how much of a taste difference there is. The entree items in the cafe did not look appealing at all. I was surprised to see food that looked like typical Chinese buffet fare in steam trays. The only thing that I might have tries is the BBQ pork strips hanging on hooks. The bakery o n the other hand is another story. The cakes, pastries, and assorted filled buns looked fantastic. Considering 90% of the people buying food were shopping in this section of the cafe told me I wasn't alone in my thinking. I got a beef curry bun, a chinese bbq bun, and a green bubble tea for < $5. All delicious.
