I like meat. All kinds. I've moved to be closer to Polarica and Mariposa Cafe. After reading a meat-centric reivew of Granada Cafe on the FudCourt website, I've pined to experience this place for myself. According to the FudJudges, this place has got the atmosphere, the FudValue, and the meat. The review uses the words: Frankie, Dino, Louis Prima, enormous, staggering, and smothered. Your hefty entree comes with a free meat-only antipasto platter, bread, soup, veg and even strawberry ice cream.
Sounds like Granada's got it all, but--they don't got the Chowhound nod. Not a mention. Could someone please counterpoint the FudCourt? Last night I chickened out and drove by it without stopping--for the SECOND time (there's something imposing about how it looks like a war bunker from the outside). I'm getting panicky, that "world's best meatball" might just be inside. Thanks in advance, SFHounds.
