Graduation Dinner for 10

mbasnack | Feb 28, 2014 05:55 AM

My hubby is graduating in May from a grueling grad school program and after hosting a party for friends in the afternoon, I want to treat he and our families (about 10 of us) to a solid dinner in the North End. With the exception of he/I- everyone else is coming in from out of it was between a 'New England Style seafood supper' or that. My standard rec's for any tourist in the North End are typically limited to Mama Maria's, Prezza or Trattoria di Monica...or take your chances in line at Giacomo's.

However, for this dinner I need to scale down a bit on price point (thinking $15-20 per entree max), will need reservations and be able to use a credit card. We'll be walking over from Canal Street North End would be an ideal location. And of course, I want the food to be solid...

Tried Antico Forno but they are booked up (about every other school in Boston has graduation the same weekend). Looks like Fiore has some openings but I've only been there for cocktails on the rooftop bar before dinner somewhere else.

I'm stumped. Any ideas?
