Grab and go protein rich breakfasts?

My teenage son does weightlifting workouts before school and must bring his breakfast with him to eat afterward. He wants to eat protein and usually brings a bagel with peanut butter, fruit, and a chocolate milk. He packs it up himself before he goes to bed and is not able to reheat it before eating. Last night we were out of bagels and bread, which lead me to wonder, other than peanut butter on a carb, what else can he pack?
