My Gourmet Kitchen

MamaNeedsCoffee | Jan 26, 2008 06:46 PM

This post is for other tired parents who don't get to go out to dinner much anymore. :)

We recently tried My Gourmet Kitchen, which prepares (and delivers!) meals you can cook at home. (We had tried the larger franchise operations, and had been extremely disappointed in their food.) MGK is owned and operated by a chef (and mom) who primarily uses organic and locally-grown ingredients. The chef, Yvonne, has lots of vegetarian and vegan options, makes veg substitutions for meat dishes, and accommodates all kinds of food preferences or allergies (when I first called, she was making a gluten-free birthday cake for a toddler).

We have just loved the dinners from MGK. Every single meal we've gotten has been delicious. Whether we cook them fresh or frozen, the food is just so, so good.

I'm not affiliated with MGK in any way. I didn't know Yvonne before becoming her customer, and she's not a friend or family member of ours. I have no financial stake in the business, and nothing good happens to me if you try MGK. I just wanted to pass the rec along to other tired parents who might be interested in getting reasonably priced, outstandingly yummy food on their dinner tables.
