Gourmet Express, Milpitas for good Middle Eastern food: Falafel, shawerma

I had lunch at Gourmet Express today and it's very good. My co-worker and I went around 11am and we were the only ones there but lots of other co-workers love the place.

Service was fast and efficient, nice people. We ordered and then sat down, they brought the food to us. We both got the chicken shawerma platter: lemon spiced chicken shredded w/ garlic cream sauce, tahineh, fresh onions, parsley, tomatoes & pickles. Then you can choice two side salads but I got a sampler of 4 sides: hummus, eggplant, 1 doma, potato salad, cucumber & tomato salad.

It was all very good and good size portion. I finished it all-no leftovers. Got a baklava to go.

Co-workers also love their falafels so hope others can try it. I highly recommend the chicken shawerma.
