Gotan Cafe - Tribeca- really good stuff

foodwhisperer | Apr 7, 201509:43 AM

I went to the old Pecan,,, They redid it, and changed menu. I'm not sure if ownership changed or not.
I had whitefish salad on a bialy, it was delicious. They also have smoked salmon on bialy. I personally prefer bialy to a bagel and there aren't many places that offer bialy sandwiches. The service at Gotan is better than Pecan was. They actually bring your food to your seat after you order and they bus your dishes for you. The Cappuccino I had was very good too. The pickle slice they serve as an accompaniment is a half -sour or almost half-sour with some red pepper, dill and other spices on it, very tasty.
