Gorikee Restaurant in Woodland Hills

Jack Johnson | Aug 6, 200404:35 PM     4

I just discovered a new little restaurant in the corner of Warner Plaza in Woodland Hills called Gorikee with surprisingly high quality food for very reasonable prices. The place is a bit spartan but once you try the food, you will quickly forget where you are.

They have wild Alaskan salmon in a Champagne French sour cream sauce, wasabi rib-eye steak, kobe beef and arugula salad and some other very unique and innovative dishes. Bring you own wine for a $3 corkage fee and you could be in an upscale chic California cuisine place but affording to eat here every week if not more.

Take my advice and give this place a try. Not many restaurants have survived this location but this one is a jewel in a part of town that is greatly lacking in restaurants offering an innovative and delicious menu. Let's hope it makes it.
