Gordon's House of Fine Eats is yummy. It is overpriced, however, which is always a penalty on my scorechart. Someone had mentioned wanting a Mint Julip. I am not certain that Gordon's sells them, but they do sell the Mohito, and it is a similar sort of thing. Cane sugar, rum, rum, rum and rum. This drink is a deadly knockout, when I worked in the .com industry we would go to Gordons and get smashed, then eat and put it all on the company tab, which is, I think, the primary reason this particular .com went bellyup.
They have excellent hamburgers, steaks, fish. You name it. The interior of this place is sort of cold, steel counters, metal tables, etc. A hambuger costs $10, which is, of course, ridiculous, but thats par for the course at Gordon's. Good food, heavy on the wallet. I go there just for the drinks, which have gnawed away a good part of my brain.
