"good" steam table Filipino Fast Food

Cynthia | Aug 10, 200305:06 PM

The Manila Eatery at 280 Metro Center/45 Colma Blvd. in Colma offers a variety of steam table entrees that change daily. The Chicken Adobo was tender with just the right touch of vinegar in the soy sauce with 2 scoops of rice for $5.75. The All Day Breakfast is Garlic Fried Rice with 2 Eggs and a choice of sides for $4.85/$5.80. The Embutido-meatloaf with ground pork, peppers, chorizo, ham, carrots and raisins wrapped in porknet was very tempting. Also on my next-time list: Dinuguan-pork cubes in sauce and Longanisa- pork sausage in a spicy sweet sauce, the Fried Fish, and the Noodles! For desserts: Mitchell's ice cream and flan. So, if you're at Home Depot, make this stop across the road—it's next to the Men's Warehouse.
What I need is a guide to direct me through the menu!
Pinakbet: vegetables in Bagoong/salted shrimp; Ginataang Langka: jackfruit and meat in coconut; Kilawin, Pochero, Relyenong Bangus, Apritada, Bopis, Estopado,Ukoy. Doesn't this just intrigue?
