I know a shocker, right?
My husband and I went to a birthday brunch at Nona Mia Ritrovo on Haywood road Sunday. Service was excellent, the food was delicious, and it was reasonably priced.
I had the "not your typical benedict", toasted foccacia, with capicola, roasted tomatoes, poached eggs and a really lemony hollandaise. My husband had the build your own frittatta with pancetta, bacon and caramelized onions. Both came with crispy, green onion home fries. It was a delicious, carefully prepared food. Nothing out of the box, but good nonetheless.
The best part of brunch was the attentive and professional service which imo is very hard to find in asheville.
