Any good Restaurant Week reports?

4 of us had a great dinner at Mistral last night. 3 apps on the menu, but they added an amazing smoke salmon salad type option (they also offered a truffle oil infused risotto with shaved black truffle, but when she came back to take the order it was already sold out) to the three on the menu. The cold corn soup was very good, the Caesar salad above average.

3 entrees, 2 of us had the steak. Very good sized (10 oz?), cooked perfectly. 1 had the chicken, 1 had the salmon, everyone enjoyed their meals immensely. Desserts were a tart or a dark chocolate mousse, there was nothing left behind. Service was very attentive (no empty glasses) without being intrusive.

I know it's fun to put down restaurant week, but there's no way I'm going to Mistral and paying menu prices for their cooking. Maybe these items weren't on their regular menu (although the added apps were restaurant-wide), but it's still a chance for me to try out a restaurant I otherwise wouldn't be able to go to.
