Good Old Reliable Chun Hing on City Line AVenue

Took out of town friends from Vineland to one of my favorites tonight. They enjoyed the fried dumplings with vinegary dipping sauce with ginger strips so much they placed another order, just to take home. I seldom order fried dumplings in other places for fear of coming up short.

The preserved turnip and shredded pork soup here is quite special.

I had my usual luscious lobster with ginger and scallion; the chicken and vegetable dishes ordered by my husband and our friends looked ordinary to me, but were enjoyed by all. They have one dish on the menu not found anywhere else, that I adore: large shrimp with watercress, in a tasty sauce that can be adjusted to your liking for spiciness.

I've been enjoying the consistent food here for about 40 years. Fully as fine as Chinatown restaraunts, and the parking is easier.
