Looking for good recipes for a beginner slicer-owner.

MinerWill | Nov 1, 201110:02 AM     7

I just got a Hobart 1612 slicer from a friend that owns a little meat shop nearby and am having a tough time finding recipes that I would consider "deli style". Another website had a fantastic-looking deli-style roast beef recipe but that is the only one I've been able to find that highlights slice-ability. Are these guarded trade secrets or is it just that I'm not making the leap mentally to the fact that virtually any roast meat can be sliced and enjoyed? I expected to find a forum of dedicated slicer-lovers but so far have come up empty. Any information will be very much appreciated, and please throw out any good recipes you're willing to share. For the record, I took this slicer specifically because we do our own bacon; that alone is rationale enough for a good in-home slicer in my opinion! Thanks.
