Seems like no one from New Mexico uses this board any more, but I'll give it a shot anyway. I need to buy a dozen buttermilk biscuits. Does anyone know where to get them in Albuquerque? I don't want anything on them, and I don't need butter or jam or green chile. I just need plain biscuits, maybe from a bakery rather than a restaurant. Thank you, ninrn
I used to see biscuits - about a dozen in package - at Sams Club. I don't recall ever buying them. There might also be frozen ones. Biscuits are best freshly baked, and tend to go stale faster than yeast breads. So I bake my own, some times entirely from scratch, sometimes using a doctored up mix. Freshly baked refrigerator biscuits (in cardboard tube) will also be better than already-baked.
