Made it over to No. 28 (28 Carmine) last week. Very good pizza. We had four different pizzas (they come in 12" and two larger sizes as well). Good crust, good ingredients, good proportions. Wood-fired brick ovens. Guys are from Naples, they don't speak much English, service was a little amusing but it worked eventually. Get the Pizza al Tartufo (mushrooms, truffle oil, rosemary) for sure. Really quite good. Also especially enjoyed the pear, gorgonzola, nuts and mozz pie. And good arugula salad to start. This place is a contender.
I liked the pies better than Una Pizza Napoletana. Una Pizza's crust is excellent, but I find the pies unbalanced. No. 28's pies are greater than the sum of their parts, which is how it should be.
