I like this dish, when ordering tapas, as it is a good filler and not meat or fish.
I recently had them at Terroir and they were good but different than most.
Usually they are made with big potatoes, these were made with small , maybe New potatoes. They also were spicy, much like what I've had in Barcelona ( as far as spicy).. However, I think these were made with Tobasco sauce ( a quick method) but I can be wrong. The potatoes were well cooked so they were soft and sweet. It is one of Terroir's better dishes . The meatballs being my favorite.
I've had Patatas Bravas at Casa Mono and I liked them but they had no kick to them at all. The version at Tableau is way to oily. I can't think of all the places I've eaten these, but I'd like some suggestions where I can get a good version.
Attached is photo of Terroir's patatas braves.
