Good Muffaletta Sandwiches?

Kenny from Rogers Park | Feb 3, 2003 12:43 PM

I love Muffaletta sandwiches, but haven't found too many good ones in the area. The best I've had thus far is the offering from Tony's Italian Deli on Northwest Highway in Edison Park. But it's only serviceable at best. Anyone have suggestions for an upgrade?

As my screen ID states, I live in Rogers Park, but am willing to travel for a good Muffaletta.

By the way, Tony's cannoli and regular Italian Subs are above average and definitely worth a try if you need something quick in the neighborhood. They also have pizza by the slice and prepared pasta dishes which look good, but I haven't tried them.
