Good meal at La Colline

Suki | Aug 9, 2005 11:20 PM

I treated a friend of mine to a birthday dinner at La Colline and we both enjoyed the food and the service. They have a $30 3-course prix fixe menu which I tried and my friend ordered a la carte. I had the mussels en croute (kind of like a mussel hushpuppy), minute steak with pomme frites (yummy with bearnaise sauce) and the expresso ciao with orange curd (to die for). My friend had escargots (delicious), some filet mignon and opera cake.

The bread was really good too.

I will definitely go there again. They are friendly (not snooty) and the food is good. Although not cheap, you get value for your money.
