If you ...just happened...to know that you were getting an electric countertop pressure cooker (that's kind of the same thing as these 'instant pots, right?) for Christmas, and you also just happened to be having 60+ people coming to your house for an open house-type dinner for Boxing Day, and you had ZERO experience using this new gadget, what would you make in your new toy to add to the festivities? To aid in your choice, the rest of the menu is going to lean toward hunks-o-protein (a pork roast, a brisket, a smoked turkey, salmon, and grilled shrimp) and probably sides like potatoes au gratin, mac n cheese, roasted vegetables and a couple of salads. Thank you for any ideas you might have for me!
