Good food blogs like Serious Eats used to be?

Michael N | Apr 2, 201811:58 AM

Serious Eats used to be a daily visit for me, back when it was more of a general-purpose food blog. They'd post things like food news, restaurant reviews, food-related travel posts, recipes, etc. It was a really interesting hodge-podge of food-related stuff. Here's a 2011 snapshot from the Internet Archive for people who weren't familiar with it back in the day:

Over the years, it's evolved into a recipe website, which is fine, but not at all what it used to be. Does anyone know of any food blogs that might scratch the same itch as classic Serious Eats?
