I love it when a chef opens a place in some obscure area of town. This time, John Lombardo is the pioneer. He's a great guy who will forget he is working just for good company. The place is small, really small so be prepared. Some locals are bringing in their own wine and trying everything on the daily menu.
It's on San Jose Ave. off of Santa Rosa. There is a dry cleaner across from the cafe disguised as a great eatery.
Tell John that James sent ya. I get there once a week now just to try new dishes in an area that is not known for good eats. Papusas yes, but goat cheese mouse with greens - not yet.
