I'm always on the lookout for good cake. Not the fancy ganache filling and overly decorated fluff that always seem to look better than they taste. You know what I'm talking about. I'm looking for the kind your grandmother used to make. Straight forward Devils Food, White Cake, Yellow Cake with chocolate frosting, Banana Cake, good quality, hardy and substantial, no cake mix/Crisco frosting. Can anyone point me in the right direction?? Thanks!
