stopped by "the salty tongue" on carrall street and i highly recommend it for a light lunch. i had the belfast ham sandwich. they cure their own ham and they controlled the level of salt perfectly. the bread that they use is great, very hearty. although i doubt they bake their own as there was no homely 'bread baking' smell in the room. they also sell an assortment of specialty/high end cooking products such as lemon champagne oil to drizzle over salads, etc.
also, opinions sought on any good eats around the playland/pne area for visitors taking public transit?
