Stopped in twice in the past couple of weeks and had some good sandwiches. $6 each.
First was meatloaf with sauteed onions (or maybe an onion marmelade) on focaccia with some kind of good cheese (I had been drinking, memory is a bit rusty). It was quite good, tho' benefited from a dash more salt and a bit of ketchup.
Side of brussel sprouts sucked, they tasted too much like smoke. Ick.
Friday night I stopped in and got the fried chicken sandwich. Nicely fried boneless chicken thighs - great seasoning, served on a bulkie with arugula tomato and a bit of aoili. Mmmmmmm.
big chocolate chip cookies are pretty good.
Lots of dinner entrees, soups, wine, beer, etc. a great little place to stop for a quick bite on the way home - and really solid food that doesn't break the bank.
