Any good eats at the Brockton Fair?

Laughing Goddess | Jul 5, 2004 12:38 PM

I went to the fair the other night, but didn't get a chance to eat (sigh). I noticed one particular stand that looked interesting -- it was near the kiddy rides, and they had arepas and cubanos. Anybody try these? Anything good at the fair at all, or am I hoping for too much?

I will recommend the old-fashioned soda stand, also near the kiddy rides. I tried the root beer, nice and rich and creamy. For $5 you get a tin cup with their logo on it, and refills are $2.

I'll be back at the fair sometime later this week, and will report if there are any good finds.
