Good discoveries in Northeast Georgia mountains?

I'm familiar with the Dillard House and some Clayton, Georgia, spots like the Blue Willow tea room & the Grape & Bean, as well as Glen-Ella Springs and the Woodbridge Inn. I'm wondering if there are some other spots worth trying in the area -- BBQ, fine dining, good meat & threes, whatever. Has anyone tried the Lodge at Smithgall Woods? I've also noticed some new vacation/resort places cropping up around 441 north towards NC. Has anyone found anything new and/or worth trying around there? (And FYI: Does anyone else like the little creamery with homemade butter, eggnog & ice cream on 441 just across the line in Otto, NC?)
