Good Dim Sum downtown?

artificialard | Mar 26, 2006 03:19 AM

Used to move up around North York and now live downtown and have never really found quality Asian places like there was in 'New China Town' (Highway 7, Richmond Hill).

I'm looking for a Dim Sum place that I can bring some friends that have never tried Dim Sum. I have tried two places before downtown: Lai Wah Heen and Dynasty. I generally prefer Dynasty because it has nicer tables/views and Lai Wah Heen costs a bit more even though there are similar in my opinion. If there's a place that makes good BBQ pork buns that's bonus!

Any other suggestions? Don't know Chinatown at all so if anyone knows good, CLEAN, and presentable places there I would be very thanksful!

P.S. If you want to have a nice dim sum experience I highly recommend Dynasty. They are nice, the food is excellent, and they are towards the upper-end of Dim Sum in Toronto but I don't expect it's more than 20$pp..
