good first date restaurants in the $100-150 range?

When I go to restaurants, I tend towards the very expensive ones because I love fine cuisine. Most of my restaurant knowledge is at the high-end of the spectrum, and I didn't grow-up in montreal, so I need some help.

I need to find some new places that have an intimate atmosphere, great food, and that won't set me back $250+ for a meal with girl I might not hit it off with.

I can't stand mediocre food, so I guess I'm looking for something in the $100-150 range with a half-decent bottle of wine ($40-50). I won't pretend to be a wine connoisseur, and I doubt most of my dates will be since they're usually around ~20 yrs. old.

From reading the recent threads, I can see a lot of people recommend Brunoise, which I'm considering taking a date to next tuesday, but I need more than one place to take them.

What I'm looking for are a few cozy, romantic restaurants, with low lighting or candlelight, reasonable prices, and great food using fresh ingredients.

Suggestions?
