How do I make a good coffee at 7-Eleven?

Question

I like to get coffee at 7-Eleven. They have quite a few different coffees and options for stuff to put in it. Can you give me suggestions for how to make a good combination?

Coffee types: Hazelnut, Colombian, Pumpkin Spice, Bold, French Vanilla, Decaf, Blueberry, Regular Exclusive Blend.
Syrups: Pumpkin, sugar free caramel, vanilla.
Toppings: Cinnamon, vanilla powder, mini marshmallows.
This machine that dispenses already-made drinks: Hot chocolate, pumpkin spice latte, cappucino, skinny vanilla latte.
A ton of different creamers.

So far I like the Colombian one with light cream. But I would like to try something more elaborate. I like the fancy holiday coffee drinks at Starbucks and stuff. Would love to concoct a low-budget equivalent.

What about you? Do you like 7-Eleven coffee? How do you like yours?

I used to like 7-11 and Quick Check coffee more when it I could pour it from a regular pot. I don't know if it was a law change, but everything comes from a dispenser now. For some reason it doesn't give me the feeling that I'm getting something fresh.

½ columbian or dark roast drip coffee plus ½ vanilla cappuccino. add 1-2 cream/half-n-half. can substitute chocolate for the cappuccino.

sprinkle with vanilla and chocolate powders and a slightest touch of cinnamon.

I don't have a lot of experience with Starbucks' fancy drinks, but I do doctor my coffee from interstate filling stations. I usually drink my coffee strong, medium roast, and no cream or sugar. This does not always taste very good at the gas station!

So, I do about a third hot chocolate, a LOT of half-and-half, dash of cinnamon or nutmeg, and then fill up with dark roast coffee.

This is my concoction of choice -- not too sweet, a goodly amount of caffeine, and tasty while not depending on the coffee actually tasting good or being fresh.

Turn toward the exit. Walk to your car. Get in and drive to the nearest Starbucks. S.Bucks may not be the greatest coffee, but it sure beats 7-11 and WaWa.

Before the machine switches over to the Peppermint Mocha (yup - I'm at 7-11 a lot!), try this for a low-budget Starbucks Pumpkin spice latte equivalent:

1. Collect 3/4 cup from the pumpkin spice latte from the machine (take the cup away once the coffee gets watery)
2. Add a shot of the pumpkin spice blend from the pot
3. Add a little pumpkin creamer
4. Top with cinnamon and enjoy!

I also like cappucino from the machine, add a shot of french vanilla from the pot, and add coconut creamer and vanilla powder. :)

Advice: Look for one of the empty carafes. Ask one of the workers to make you a fresh batch of that coffee. Put it in your cup while it's still brewing.

Still won't be great coffee, but it will be hot and decent.

So glad you asked me that. :) here's how to do it without getting those sugar heavy lattes they offer. Make your own latte: pour a HALF a cup of a flavored coffee (I like pumpkin spice right now) from a pot that's brewed. Add your Splenda, equal, sugar, whatever you like. Then fill up your cup with their Steamed Milk Mix that's usually right next to their sugary lattes. It has a nice froth on top just like a latte. Top off with a quick sqirt of half and half from the nozzle for that extra creaminess if you like..Delicious! And you can do it in whatever flavor you like, or just regular coffee. Enjoy!

i made a "holiday version" with:
regular coffee
half and half
bursts of: hot chocolate, vanilla cappuccino, steamed milk
two squirts of pumpkin spice syrup and one of vanilla
two or three packets of the dark sugar. 

(used tallest cup). 

a nice treat -- like a dessert coffee.

this and a nice blueberry muffin: deal at $2.

Wow, that's a ton of stuff...reminds me of coldstone trying to make their ice cream palatable by adding junk to it. When I want want coffee, I drink COFFEE!

It was fun to read these comments! lol I love their peppermint mocha, and I also love that you can customize your coffee for $1 (I have a refill cup) and I like it much better than Starbucks. Sometimes they even have whipped cream you can use which is pretty awesome. I like to go half and half with blueberry coffee and vanilla coffee, and add vanilla creamer and top it with whipped cream. I wish I liked the syrups but they taste too much like artificial sweetener to me. 3/4 vanilla cappuccino and 1/4 blueberry coffee is a good combo too.

I love the blueberry-flavored coffee that 7/11 offers. I think it's fantastic. Actually, I feel like I'm addicted to it, haha. It took some getting used to, but after one or two times, I fell in love. Now, it's all I drink.


I mix my blueberry coffee, typically, with their french vanilla flavored creamer. I may add 1 sugar packet.

Other times, I may mix the coffee (2/3) with their ready-made french vanilla from the dispenser (1/3).
