Hey all, I fancy making some carnitas, but a lot of the recipes I'm finding seem to be twists. Like no lard or what have you. I want it to be pretty authentic, but that said, I felt like the last time I made it (yearssss ago) it was a little too orangy, so I might omit the orange altogether. But I'd like to start with a fairly authentic recipe that gives me something really porky and tender. Oh, and I don't have a slow cooker, so I was just gonna use my dutch oven.
